Plaete Rich Plasma
PRP is fabulous for fresh, younger, brighter looking skin. 100% natural Long lasting results Alternative to anti-wrinkle injections or dermal fillers
What is PRP?
Your blood has 3 main components, red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma. Plasma contains platelets and growth factors. PRP is concentrated plasma from your own blood and this is reinjected to achieve the desired results. The reintroduced, highly concentrated plasma generates a healing response stimulating collagen to be produced. This results in an improvement in the connective tissue density and younger, more youthful appearing skin.
What is involved?
During the procedure the clinician will withdraw a small amount of your blood, just like when you do a blood test (no injections or needles used). This is then spun in a highly specialized machine and collection tube generating concentrated plasma for treatment.
What can this be used for?
One of the most common uses for PRP in aesthetic medicine is to help reduce dark circles and “puffiness” under the eyes, reduce fine lines and give your skin its glow back. It is great for reducing redness and shrinking pores.
Benefits of the procedure
Quick office based procedure No foreign substances to be injected (it is all natural!)
Long lasting results (after initial treatments only yearly “refreshers” needed)
Minimal to no downtime
Side Effects Bruising – any injections under the eyes carry higher than normal chance of bruising. Usually easily able to cover with make-up and settles in 5-7 days. Pain – Although the clinician will strive to make the procedure as comfortable as possible any injection can be painful. Topical numbing cream will be used and most people find the procedure very tolerable.
PRP FACIAL! As most treatments do not utilise all the generated PRP the remainder can be administered with a mesotheraphy treatment to give your whole face a youthful glow at no extra charge.
